Specialty License Plates

What is it?

There are a multitude of military and veteran specialty license plates available to Texas veterans including, Disabled Veteran, Former Prisoner of War, Pearl Harbor Survivor, Purple Heart and Medal of Honor plates.

Who qualifies?

 All veterans with an honorable discharge qualify for speciality license plates. Please view a list here: http://www.txdmv.gov/vehicles/license_plates/qualifying/military.htm

How to get it?

Download application from http://www.txdmv.gov/whatyouneed/forms/license_plates.htm#gov, turn into your county Tax-Assessor Collector office. Proof of eligibility must accompany application.
