Homeless Services

What is it?

The VA Women Veterans Health Program is committed to helping homeless women veterans live as independently as possible. Homeless services include emergency shelter, transitional housing programs, and permanent housing. Some services also are available to homeless women veterans with dependent children.

Who qualifies?

All women veterans qualify.

How to get it?

Meet with your local Texas Veterans Commission representative or Veterans County Service Officer who will guide you through the process and identify any paperwork required.  Completing forms completely and correctly will affect the outcome of your request.
